Payroll services provider ADP released its monthly ADP Employer Services Report today showing that the private sector created 217,000 jobs in the US for the month of February. A Reuters poll expected the number to be closer to 175,000.
The government’s main employment report, the Non-Farm Payroll, is due this Friday morning. It is expected to confirm a rise in job creation with 185,000 non-farm positions and 190,000 in the private payrolls.
