Stephen Poloz has been appointed the new governor of the Bank of Canada, replacing Mark Carney, whose term ends June 1.
Finance Minister Jim Flaherty named Poloz to replace Bank of Canada Governor Mark Carney after financial markets closed this afternoon.
Stephen Poloz, is currently president of Export Development Canada.
