What’s The Good Oil?

OANDA Senior Market Analyst, Jeffrey Halley is talking about oil today but not before touching on this evening’s FOMC meeting and likely outcome. No change to the dovish tone is predicted, although the dreaded “taper” word may emerge at September’s meeting. We then look at Brent crude and WTI, which look constructive in the longer term, but vulnerable to a sell-off in the short term. The same can be said of copper before Jeff tries to answer the question on so many investors minds. Why is the US Dollar strong when US yields are falling?
